Can the outer (round) spring plate bushings be replace by only removing the spring plate cover? Pry the old one out, push the new one in. They are right underneath the cover. Or, will the tension on the spring plate make it impossible? _________________ Dave

Yes, it can be done as you say. What you might find though is the the inner one has never been replace and when that happens they tend to get deformed. You might see the torsion bar no longer sitting in the middle of the tube. That might make it hard to get the outer bushing back on. _________________ John
