Anybody know of a source for individual shims for the reverse clutch pack on the 01M/01P?
I'm striking out finding an e-tailer that sells them separately...I'm preparing to bite the bullet and buy a complete set of shims (p/n 095398208), of which I will only use one shim _________________

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |
I don't think electrickery works that way |

I suspect the 2 people on this forum who've actually rebuilt their transmission have already seen this thread...
...and contacting a shop who (seems?) to have rebuilt plenty of 01M's could not turn up a singular shim. So, I bought a complete set of shims.
If you find yourself rebuilding your 01P and you need a shim or two to set the low/reverse clutch clearance, drop me a PM and I'll sell you one at cost, saving you from spending an additional ~$130 on shims from a set you don't need. _________________
