|
|
My 1958 Coupe is a survivor, never restored with just one repaint. As a survivor it has a few deviations from stock but looking at the glass it seems likely most of it is original and possibly all of it original.
The driver's/passenger's/2 x quarter/rear windows all carry the same logoed glass...
To me 5 matching Logos with the same code says original.
The windscreen on my Ghia is different but possibly original too...
How do other owners logo glass compare?
I'm not obsessive about originality...far from it, it's curiosity really. _________________ John.

My '58 Ghia windscreen was Sekurit logo'd like all of the other glass in the car. It was badly scratched so I've replaced it with a repop, but I still have it stored away and intact. Photo:

Take the original scratched one to a glass shop and if they are not too deep they can polish it out so it looks brand new. |
