Whats wrong with these pics? Getting ready to replace the spring plate bushings and noticed on the passenger side there were only 2 bolts going through the spring plate -1st pic.
After disconnecting the arm, i found the bolt hole is on the bottom of the arm, and the slot is on the top of the spring plate 2nd pic.
Wrong spring plate? Its a Desert Fox Spoiler on a 74 beetle chassis.
Drivers side had 3 bolts which lined up correctly 3rd pic.....any thoughts?

Someone has wrongly replaced the right side spring plate with a left hand side one by the look of it. |

I think you have a single plate trailing arm on a dual plate spring plate. I ran into the same issue on the pan I bought. I just drilled and tapped a new hole. _________________ DMZFAB.COM |

Are there any dimensional differences between single plate vs. Double plate trailing arms? |
