My 1984 Jetta turn signals as well as 4-way flashers come on and stay on without blinking. Indicator light on dash gives a quick flash as you turn the switch on. All bulbs are working. Does this indicate a faulty flasher? If so, where is the flasher located? Thanks. |

It could be the flasher relay (on the relay panel, above the fuses), could be a turn signal switch, it could be the flasher switch, or a fuse, or maybe someone put the wrong bulbs in the light housing (for some unknown reason, people stuff 1156 single element bulbs into the 1157 style dual element holders, I've seen this at least 80 times.). _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
