I was just on CB perf carb list and noticed 30 pict solex carb with manual choke. Wouldn't these make a great pair for a clone Okrasa kit.

I have one currently on my otherwise stock 36hp. So far I like it. This is the carb of choice in class 9, class 11, and class 5/1600. Class 11 and 5/1600 can run unlimited compression with stock 1600dp heads, and I believe they are able to make around 80hp at the crank with race gas on this carb, so it does have some potential even in single carb form. I would love to see someone fabricate a larger diameter intake manifold and run this carb with some ported stock heads to see what gains could be made.
