I have the leds, been replacing the 4' shop lights with leds this year.almost done...there kinda expensive..but the brighter whiter light is worth it to me. wally world had some 4' shop lights tof $20. thats half of everybody elses...so I get 3 or 4 of them to try them....I should of got 12-15 of them as they were priced rong and are now $39.00.... I get the led t8 bulbs and use them (6500 bright) they work good but are still $15 a set. I also got 8 of the phillips t12 4'led bulbs to go in to my t12 fixtures.... 3 were totaly dead in the box,3 flicker like hell 2 were good.....so i took back 6 of them to homers depot. lowes has the good led bulbs, they have some for super cheep, but there only 3500 bright witch is kinda yellow, not what I want. there is also a t8&t12 bulb that works in both fixtures ,I havent tried it yet. I did get some t8 electronic ballest and put in my 5 of my t12 fixtures.works great. my house is usualy cold all year long.as is my shop. I wont stay in a hot or humid house unless there is no power...thus the 3 generators&extra airconditioner's ( small window unit and a portable unit) just incase the central unit go,s down or power outage...witch happens a lot. my ac will get my home down to about 60 degrees or lower in july in less than 2 days running....about 1400sf home. and it takes 7 days to get back up to 72 degrees if I turn it off.and normall in&out of the house. Ive done a lot of insulation and radiant barrers, low e windows. I need to low e the sliding glass door...I have 4 windos that are not low e...I dont know why.... brain fade when i ordered them apparently. I still have a lot to do, but...my spring chicken got ate for dinner. |

I have been buying the LED 4' shop lights at Costco for $20. Nice and bright in my dingey shop. Gotta get 4-5 more to replace the fading CFL tubes fixtures. _________________ nothing |

My 25 year anniversary is coming up in May.
I'm getting us matching T shirts.
Mine says "Mr. Right for 25 years".
Hers says "Mrs. Always right, for 25 years".
They'll go well with our honeymoon T shirts, which read "My next wife/husband will be normal". _________________ sent from a phone using poor grammar and spelling |

Be wary what you wish for.
On our honeymoon, we had a room with a built-in jacuzzi. Mrs. Cusser wouldn't go in because she hadn't brought along a swimsuit.
Mrs. Cusser had heard that the man was supposed to be on top, and the woman underneath. I said "Mrs. Cusser, get out from under the bed, you're getting all dusty !!!"
OK - those things did not really happen....really, we still have sex almost every night: almost on Monday, almost on Tuesday...... _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. The last few years I have gotten her a "bouquet" or a dozen long stem Starbucks gift cards. 12 $5 gift cards fitted into notched straws arranged in a Starbucks cup filled 3/4 up with coffee beans. She gets a kick out of it, & it lasts longer than a bunch of overpriced flowers. You can use the gift card of your (preferably her) choice. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
