Very early in our marriage I told my wife that I love liver and onions (she does not) but they need to be cooked right. She bought the liver and I showed her how to cook it.
The next day she made me sandwiches for lunch out of ground up cold left over liver mixed with mayo!!
Lesson learned! |
But if you don't speak up when a meal is bad, bet that you'll be served that again !!!
You married guys will understand this: when I wash my shirts and put them to air dry on a horizontal rack in the laundry room, why does Mrs. Cusser feel that it's OK later to lay her wet bras over my drying shirts, like her stuff matters more and she doesn't care if MY stuff doesn't get dry ??? Maybe it's her "oldest child" syndrome.... |
Take her bras away from her and burn them. |

So, is "happy hour" 24-7 at the Casa de Cusser? |

I learned a long time ago that if anyone in my house does anything to inconvenience me, especially if the action is inconsiderate, I move what I am doing, or have done, to a place where no one will think to get to it, whether it be basement, workshop area, shed, or garage. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Add three kids and it gets even better, especially with at least one into tinkering with cars, parts, and tools. I miss doing whatever I want, when and how I want. They and the misses drive me nuts day in, day out. I’d do it all over again. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

Having thumbs makes being a single male much better though. So do smart phones & internet porn. Then again, that makes married life better too _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Does anybody else have trouble with towel bars being pulled away from the wall despite using even even toggle bolts? Or "someone" putting small containers the only shelf in the refrigerator that the taller bottles/containers fit on?
Or "someone" stuffing too much stuff in the clear refrigerator drawers and then trying to force the drawers/bins closed anyway, or just forcing the door shut anyway, breaking the no-longer-available bins, which would've cost over $100 each anyway? Yes - fixed those to be usable with Simpson Strong Ties and rivets....know same would happen even with a brand-new refrigerator !!! _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. Because married men die sooner?
Hint that’s a joke, since all of the oldest living men all died single and happy. _________________

Just thought of one. In a tub/shower with tile walls that has a tile soap dish. Having to reattach or replace when broken the soap dish because it some how fell off but her legs are silky smooth. _________________ Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day,

how do you know they were happy?Calais on their hand? single or married dosent = happiness....well not all the tyme....so Im told. And many times it's all in your head. we cant all be happy all the time. I hurt so dam bad almost all the time that Im usualy happy just to wake up for another day!! and some days Im on the other side of things and pissed because I wasent dead and did wake up. but then I just think about my kids and lovely wife and that helps a lot. Cars, homes, money dont really make you happy, thats up to you to do for your self most of the time.although it is nice to have them all and ...much more. Remember, your worth isant what you sell at a yard sale, it isant whats in your bank account or all your friends.., it's what your wife hauls to the scrap yard after your dead..... make her work for it!!!! |

I don’t try and define others happiness, when someone reports happiness I believe them.
Haven’t met a chick who didn’t rely on man to make them happy. And I’ve known quite many of them.
My happiest days occur when I have personal freedom, _________________

Nine days is hard core. Three or four is enough for me.

Piece of cake compared to a week at summer camp with 20 kids that aren't yours. _________________ My cut in half and rebuild thread
