Air conditioning control switch

Hi

Hoping someone can help me here. I have the roof A/C in my Westfalia but it needs a new fan blower switch. Position 0 (off) and 4 (full) work, but positions 1,2 and 3 don't work.

Is there a resistor pack for these? Anyone know if the switch is available?

If only OFF & MAX fan speed work, that points more to your resistor. Not sure if available new, so check in the
classifieds here for good used -or- wire in any 4-speed aftermarket resistor...(yes, it's possible & been done)!

Thanks for the replies guys. 2 options there.

Quick question on the new switch, it says the original knob (the really big one obviously designed for the ultra sweaty and visually impaired Vanagon owner!!) won't fit. Did you manage to get the original knob to fit???
