Looking to purchase a moustache bar for my 1991 Brazilian Kombi that came to me from Brazil without one. Just getting around to finishing the motor, and figured out I was missing this. Universal case, so it should not be an issue. If anyone has a line on a private seller or someone who is manufacturing newer ones, all good. Thanks to all. |

Do you know if the Brazilian mustache bar is different from the Type 2b ones? _________________ John

I am thinking a Brazilian bus would have a Type 4 engine compartment design and would need a bar that would match it along with all the correct engine tin to fill the larger space. |

If it's like the bus HastaAlaska had it's more like a splittie in the back, do they even need a moustache bar?
Edit: From the classifieds, some serious air filters on those:
Looks like the top edges of a cradle at the bellhousing like splits use. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

If the transmission is fully supported without the motor then you won't need one as the moustache bar provides the rear mount for transmission/motor assemblies that use trans. front mount/motor rear mount. |

From Ben's gallery, 1992 Brazil bus:
Looks like no bar needed to me. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
