A few years back the was a thread by a talented machinist who made his own intake and Linkage(I remember there was fixed bearings on the main shaft, and (here's the catch) his design utilized the stock choke cables. I have looked untill i'm dizzy--do anyone remember this story

I seem to remember an article in Hot VWs with a low light Ghia running dual pci with cable chokes... I have it somewhere, but it would be an absolute task to locate.

Danny Gabbard has a 40hp with dual 28pci and chokes. I'm sure I've seen detailed photos of the choke cable setup on here.....
