If you use a lot of stainless rivets, they will eventually strip out the jaws of the riveter. The better ones have replaceable jaws, and it's worth having some spares around. If you have a compressor, I'd go with a pneumatic riveter, well worth it in the long run if you will use a lot of them. I used a lot of them building snowboard molds at Burton in the early days. They are bloody strong, and should keep those baffles in the bazookas where they belong.

As far as power loss with dual cannons - my experience was that on the highway there was no appreciable difference. It is the 2 cylinder idle along with the stumbles and farts around town that changed. My feeling is that cannons and Kadrons do not play well together as my sand rail with the center mounted stock Solex is fine.

By the way when I want a quieter exhaust note on the sand rail I just tarp strap two small glass pack mufflers into the outlets of the cannons. Not pretty but works like a charm!
