It's back!
For the low, low price of 45K.
Check the video on the classified ad for Sunset Classics. Looks like they somehow got a Minnesota VIN assigned to the van. Looking at the dash, steering wheel and front end; that is at least a post 2000 Eurovan. The camper brochure is dated 2008. They even post up the Carfax which clearly goes to a 91 Vanagon's VIN - and shows 26K miles, (despite the seller's claim of 16K) and notes a color change to Green in June, 2016. Wonder what would happen if I asked my insurance company or the South Carolina DMV to plug in that Minnesota VIN to cover it.

Here's the thread where it was discussed back in 2016.

Fascinating. Bo Diddley knows. But that van probably would be quite legal in Gstaad.

That is one nice looking van, but I'm not a gambler, and that is one big gamble to purchase this van and then either be denied registration/insurance or even have it confiscated for being illegally imported.

Considering the other vehicles this person has for sale, I wouldn't consider such a person to be ignorant of details concerning a vehicle's history and provenance.

The seller has to be aware that this is a 2000+ MY vehicle, and that federal laws were broken to wash that VIN.

Then again...

...maybe he really is that stupid.

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor.

I don't think electrickery works that way
