Whats going on here? Which holes do i need to weld up. Why are there 3 holes here. |

Grab your attenae, figure out which holes work and weld up what’s not needed. Antennas were dealer options so there isn’t truly a rule as to what or even where they are. A PO probably slapped on whatever they found at their FLAPS back in the day and rather than trying to use the old holes drilled new ones.

Looks to me like the car had a two post antenna installed, once in the vertical position and once at an angle following the A pillar rake.

As mukluk states- someone had a 2-post antenna as pictured. If you are sticking with an antenna, then choose if you want vertical or raked to align with the A pillar. Or weld them all if you want to use a radio delete. Here is a vertical mounted antenna:

In Feb 59 the dealer put a two post vertical on mine, with a Motorola am radio.
