So one of the PO's of this bus took the column apart and just put the wheel back on. All the other parts were found in the glovebox (hopefully all the parts) Ratwell has a great tutorial on this assembly, but since I have no clue why it was disassembled and before I reassemble it, is it possible to make all the connections required on the floor, to test them out first?
Also, the PO is mailing me the key, so that's out of the equation for now... |

Try asking the PO why it's apart, much easier. |

locking column gone bad
turn signal switch not working or shorted
headlights not cycling between high and low beams or shorted
occasional unwanted horn honk from a shorted wire / column / rubber puck
missing tab at bottom of column
prep for a complete restoration
some of those will require more than a couple wires to test

Thanks SGKent, maybe I'll test the electrical connections while it's off, but sounds like I will have to reassemble for the rest. |
