Oh dear, there's one of those in the backdrop of every "CHiPs" episode ever aired. This will be tough.

Do you keep your old phone bills? Try and find the phone number. Maybe use google maps and look for the address where you purchased it.

If you really want to know you can find out as you can trace the DMV records.

I didn't think you could still trace dmv records.i found stickers on door jamb but it was done at Jin's shell service in pacific palisades California it said and it was hard to read since it was painted over.

When I bought the car I got it from a vw guy here in va who was selling it for the owner as the owner moved back to California it had a pink California title

The title of every vehicle I've owned had a block that listed the name of the previous owner... does yours not have the same?

Yeah, I didn't see that they said they bought it from the original owner. Of the 400 or so ACVWs I've bought, I haven't bought an ACVW from the original owner for at least 20 years, so if I came across one now, I'd at least make a note of it somewhere. With the age of these cars, the likelihood of a true one owner car is as right up there with an Odo that hasn't rolled at least once.

Is an Odo the thing that you have in your Speedo? Confused

Nope, security officer on Deep Space Nine. (I never knew that he was the same actor that played Father Mulcahy on M.A.S.H. Shocked )
