Hey there everyone Decided to post this after enjoying the project cars I've seen being built here on the readers pages- you have some amazing creations.
Came across a few ancient photos; Bought this '73 Convertible in 1994 for $400... rolling shell that was almost completely parted out:
Photo #1- 1996 or so... taking thick layer of lacquer paint until way past dark
Photo #2- discovered corrosion issues were worse than anticipated; sandblasters and off the pan for some metal surgery...
Photos #3-6 fast forward 20 years, quite imperfect as the goals have morphed from German look toward Beach Bug/ Cali super. This is supposed to be fun, right?!? Ha
