Fellow Sambas,
Ready to paint my wonderful original Westy. Need help picking the correct white color for the handbrake lever, the shifter rod, and steering wheel column. Sure looks pearl white to me but then again I have heard differently. This bus was a May 1967 build in solid Pearl White and in our family since ‘67! Picked up in Hannover, cruised Europe and shipped over to the west coast to it’s new home in Seattle.
Thanks for your help
Bill

Mouse-over the "Technical" tab.... ^^ up top.... then click on "Paint/Upholstery."
Kombi.... typically black. But for white...
Scroll down to your year range under the second section ("Standard Microbus - Deluxe Microbus")

Easy e,
I look at those charts and they say paint code L41 black. That is not correct. Owned this bus since ‘67 and has never had any interior paint. I think that is why confusion exists.

Hi Bill,
You didn't go down the page far enough.
The front cab stuff was painted like a Standard/Deluxe... see the lower part of the pic:

Take a look at these threads.

Hey easy e,
I guess I have to look at things more closely! You are right about the color charts. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Happy Holidays to you.
