Oldest rhd single cab in Australia found

Over the last 10 years I have found hundreds of kombis in Austalia , spending weekends traveling thousands of kilometres searching , never expected to find a barndoor in a barn 15 minutes from my front door , turns out to be the oldest in Aus and second oldest rhd s.c on the bd register

The paint and look of it is really nice after you cleaned it up.

I don't think it's double treasure chest doors, maybe you got tricked because it's RHD with a left side door?

very cool an very nice condition. i would certainly be interested in seeing a couple of pics of the hundreds of splits you found over the years. I may have 'seen' hundreds of buses, but i certainly did not discovered more than say 10 or so.

20-077507 it came in the first shipment of Barndoors to Aus first week of March 1954 ,according to the register there is a 53 rhd s.c in Japan, this may be the oldest rhd barny of any sort in Aus according to the register, mikki has one earlier but I think it is in Nz
