This happens way too often when I'm replying to a post with my Android phone: I will be logged in to TheSamba, spending 5 or 10 minutes keying away on this tiny ridiculous phone keyboard, then hit "Submit" only for TheSamba to prompt me to "log in" AGAIN, which, needless to say, renders 5 or 10 minutes of typing lost. I could probably go back and forth, copy and paste from one session into the new one, then go from there, but it ain't so easy. This is excruciatingly aggravating to say the least, since it happens intermittently, and I have no idea when my time will be wasted. It has never happened on the PC. |

I'm not sure why this happens but most likely if you are mobile, your carrier dropped your connection and issued you a new IP address somewhere along the way.
This can drop you off the site... but not always
A lot of times (always?) you can prevent this by checking the "keep me logged in" box when you login.
I don't normally check that myself so when I do that I still manually "Log out" when I am done since I use a couple different devices.
Logging out is not a requirement though. _________________ How to Post Photos

Thanks, I'll give that "keep" checkbox a try, it makes sense. I've never used it, but I do always manually log out also |
