I am heading back out 'west' this summer.
Going to Syncro Solstice again and then taking my son on the last part of the 2015 trip that we did not finish (WY, MT, SD).
The plan is to drive out to Utah for Syncro Solstice May 17-20 and then drive back to Denver, leave the bus somewhere safe on May 21, and fly home from DIA to BWI.
On June 22 my son and I will fly from BWI to DIA, pick up the bus, and go to Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt Rushmore, Badlands, and home.
So I need recommendations on a safe place to leave the bus from May 21 to June 22. I can provide compensation via good beer if that helps! _________________ Dave O

Dave, I have a longtime client and friend who owns a shop in Denver.
We're going to be there around that time to pinstripe for him. He has lots of land and without speaking for him, think he'd be okay with your parking there a month. No promises, and he doesn't drink — so a cheap date.
I PMed you so we can chat about it. _________________ ‘84 Westy, 2.1L with Digijet, 5.43 R+P, GT Gears

PM sent. Thanks for the offer.
I do not need to make a decision now so let's see what pops up. _________________ Dave O

I wish I had the space, Dave, but I'm already in danger of getting reprimanded for too many VW's and not enough space...

Maybe check out to see if OPT overland would store it for you? I have a good buddy who works there, they're in Ft. Collins right next to RMW |

Dang, thought you were all set and wish I had other ideas.
Ft. Collins to DIA is not as tragic a drive as most everywhere else in Denver, it's pretty efficient all things considered.
Good Luck. _________________ ‘84 Westy, 2.1L with Digijet, 5.43 R+P, GT Gears

I'm hoping to have some projects underway in my garage but if you get skunked on the other spots, you know where I live.

My offer still stands, but I'm south in Castle Pines, so 45 minutes to DIA. There is a light rail station not too far that can take you to DIA as well. _________________ '87 Westy "Vanimal" |
