I have retractable belts, so there’s no need for them. |

Yep, still got mine. Yours looks broken. Get a new one from the Thing Shop.

I actually don’t use the passenger side hook when I’m driving by myself because the belt starts flapping in the wind when I drive. I end up connecting the two ends and laying the belt across the passenger seat. _________________ 1963 Beetle

Back when my thing was in one piece I used them every time I took my belt off. Would highly recommend getting them. |

I have the aftermarket metal version installed and we do use them with our non-retractable belts. I do have the VWoA roll cage which has the necessary holes to mount the hooks to since the roll cage brackets use the holes originally intended for the seat belts hooks to bolt the roll cage to the center pillars. _________________ '74 Thing

I have mine- but I'd say they are still there because they are protected by the roll bar. They're still easy to use too- you just slip the belt's "tongue" in sideways. Like on a blind date. _________________
