Found a fiberglass truck cab on a pan--not a beetle that has been converted, more like a full "kit". Haven't been able to find one like it online, so I figured you guys might help. It looks like it is based off a 55 or so ford or chevy...just smaller. It has full doors, and a one peice front end. The cab is one piece fiberglass. It is sitting on a standard beetle IRS pan with no bed. Any ideas?

It sounds exactly like a fiberglass truck cab on a beetle pan!! Wink

Definitely going to need pictures. Anything can be made to fit anything when made of fiberglass. There are quite a lot of fiberglass reproduction hot rod bodies out there that can be made to work on a beetle chassis and I have seen a few in the past that were actually designed for it.

Here are some pics. It looks like it's made for a vw pan.... shifter, pedals and steering column all look like they fit.

Any ideas as to what it is or who made it? I'm gonna go back and try to find the bed. Would be nice to see one thats complete so I know what to look for. There's about ten acres of vw's, junk and other cars where it's at....

it's definetaly a kit for a vw beetle pan. Look at the way it bolts up on the front of the tunnel. also, it looks like it has holes in the back of the cab for heater connections... looks like my next project will be an itchy fiberglass one Laughing

Hell yeah I'd rock that in a heartbeat. If you decide to pass, I'm definitely interested in knowing where that is.

Looks like it uses a super beetle windshield. that would look hot chopped about 4 inches with a stepside style bed and slammed on the ground.
