The complete interior makeover on our 1978 VW Westfalia was a blast! We stripped our 1978 VW bus down to the frame, dampened the body, added custom door panels and floors, installed custom cabinets, tie-dyed our curtains and sewed a privacy screen.

Check out the video of our complete interior makeover:

I love the clean open look of the low long counter at the back, but not sure I would give up the cupboard and head banger storage.

Looks nice though!

Nice work!

I hope you reinstalled the plastic vapor barrier with the essential flap on your front doors. Water is designed to leak down in the door and drain out of weep holes in the bottom of th door. Without the barrier your new panels will warp and mold within a wet season.

Thanks for the good vibes you guys and for checking out our VW Bus interior makeover! Good advice on the vapor barrier in the doors for anyone changing out the door panels! Very Happy
