Hello
I bought a 73 bug and was going through it and cleaning it out and found a empi am fm radio. I think the model number is 502 I was wondering what it might be worth and if anyone had anymore info on this radio. Like if it was bought through a dealer or magazine or what.

Im going to clean it up and test it today. I'm Pretty sure that it will work. I send clean up pic and test out come when I do. Do you think that the wood face place is original for the radio?

I found 2 of those new, in the box, once at my local VW parts store, even wrote about them in an article for VW Trends, called "They Are Still Out There"..
I think they wanted like 45 dollars each... !!!!!!

I still got it and would sell it for the right price. It has been setting on a shelf scene it took those pics. I never hooked a antenna or speakers up to it to see if it work. It does light up.
Send me a pm with what you are willing to pay. I have scene a few come up for sell on here. |
