Bought a new project. Has some cool Logos is a fairly dry Canadian Bus.
Plans for lowering and bringing back the logos to life.

Bus has been off the road for about 50+ years found in a junk yard. It was originally an IGA grocery getter then bought by a Heating and Plumbing Company that added some cool Hacks 🙄 They added a door for there propane tank to provide heat in the winters with a long tube reaching to the dash with a push button to turn it on, I’m guessing they found it too hot in the Bus so decided to add a Beetle pop out window 😀more progress coming.

I kinda like the Bug window in the rear panel. That is something I would have never thought to do. A set of early popouts would certainly set the purist’s tongues awaggin’! _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

The Bus is from the Okanagan the logos say "GRANDFORKS BC" was found in Vancouver. The seat came with the bus not sure if original or not...i first seen this Bus in 1985 the junkyard where it was, was kept safe as the owner never let you go into it alone and watched u like a hawk if u wanted 1 part thats all you got. When i took the drivers Doorpanel off out flew the original church key _________________ "It is what it is"

Fantastic fin! I like the access panel for the propane tank- glad they cut it like that not me, ditto for the beetle window cut in. Fully functional, aesthetics, well as they say beauty is in the eye of the beerholder |

Is that plumbing Co. Danish & Sons?
I have one of their single cabs that I am slowly working on.
Wish you well with your build from Grand Forks.

No significant logos on my Single; just the GVW weight limit like on your DD. Apparently they had a 53, my 55, and a 57 Single cab in their fleet. Your 56 DD adds to the provenance of what was Danish and Sons' plumbing fleet in Grand Forks, BC.
