It was already a long drive to get there from Long Island.

Just hope people don't turn to the street after shows like "Street Outlaws".

The park itself is not closing. They are just not running drag races there anymore. There will still be car shows, swap meets, "other" motorsports type things held there.

From what i have heard from a few sources is that they are going to store cars there for Copart? Salvage. a dollar a car per day is what i heard. they did it after Superstorm Sandy and made a bunch of cash. Someone else told me 75 million over 15 years to store the cars there!! Yes the drag racing is the only thing that is getting the axe.
