Snowed a couple inches here in middle Tennessee. Schools closed for a week.

We got dumped on here in central NC last week.
Work was closed two days in a row, which almost never happens.
...then it got to 60 degrees over the weekend and it all melted, thankfully.
It's really pretty, but the thaw-freeze cycle that makes the under-salted and unplowed roads a sheet of ice gets old pretty quick. |

The picture of my car is from several weeks ago, but it's only like the third time I have ever seen snow in my life. The first time I saw snow was in 1985.

One week ago. In South Louisiana. It was 15° and 1 1/4" of snow.
Five days later it was 72°

Last winter it snowed and the kids didn't believe me that the Bug was a good snow car, so I pulled it out and cruised up and down the hills of the neighborhood
