I'm putting my '60 bus back to stock height. It had a type 3 transmission and type 3 brakes. I was hoping the type 3 brake assemblies would bolt up to the reduction boxes - nope! Is it possible to use my type 3 drums with bus backing plates and bus brakes?

Thanks

I'm using thing drums with bus backing plates. You have to get the outer lip of the drums machined off. After that all the bus brake parts will fit the drums.

If I remeber correctly type 3 drums have too long of a snout and thing drums have a short snout.
