Manfred58sc - Too funny!  What a fun time that must have been! We were hesitant to leave in our bus, with no a/c and two pets on board (it was 90 degrees at 3am and we had some distance to travel), so we spent more time there than we expected - lots adventures we'll never forget. After 1 year of traveling in our 1978 VW bus, with our cat & dog, we made it from South Carolina to California! We cannot put into words, how impactful our journey was and what a bittersweet feeling came over us, when we finally made it to the West Coast! It took us years, to figure out that we wanted a simple life with big adventures. When we said "I Do", in 2010, we had nothing and started a little design business. In 2013, we scraped our pennies together and got our 1978 VW Westfalia for $1,800 in Asheville, NC. We spent years working on him and at the end of 2016, we were hit by a hurricane. In 2017, we decided that our bus could be our new home and we set off on an adventure of a lifetime. We hope everyone enjoys the video of how we began! - Peace & Love

Tune in, turn on, drop out! Its worked for me for over 25 years ( and has come with plenty of material success ). Following your bliss will open opportunities largely by-passed by regular society. I've never begged or accepted any type of social benefits, I just found work where everyone benefited rather than a corporate few. Travel showed me the way.
