Insulated metal heater tubes

I have just acquired a number of very nice insulated heater tubes. They are the metal type, 62mm internal diameter with grey outer insulation sleeve. The short ones are 374mm and the longer ones are 404mm in length. Does anybody know specifically what years and vehicles these were used on?

Not really, but I can say that my '72 Super has these types of tubes.

My ‘71 standard Beetle has that type of heater tubes on it.

my 69 type 1 has them on it.

note that you are missing the silicone rubber end seals.
