Anyone know where I can find a replacement? Ours is fried and my searches are coming up empty. I can make one but I'm surprised no one is reproducing this. Thanks. |

Probably because it's too easy to make. #8 red wire, #16 green wire, #16 brown wire, good ring and spade terminals, a length of heat shrink tubing. _________________ '71 panel, now with FI

If you are going for a Pebble Beach restoration, I have a NOS harness you can copy if you'd like. I made my own harness but forgot the long heat shrink…
I used #6 wire for the red because I had it on hand. Any issues with that?

Nope. Anything bigger starts becoming cost-ineffective, though. (On the other hand, did a large boat once where we used 1/2" x 1-1/2" copper bars for power distribution [boat batteries are BIG]). _________________ '71 panel, now with FI

Hey Dynamite,
I'm pretty sure I have an original harness I don't need. I live in Clairemont/Bay Ho area. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

Thanks Robbie. This is actually for Jason's bus - the red Westy that you helped finish up the motor install on. |

If you're in Encinitas, just drop by some time and we'll build one.

This is a good offer. Telford is great. If you want my harness send me a pm and we'll figure it out. I'll take a look for it when I get home and I'm pretty sure I know where it is. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

A few months ago I bought a voltage regulator that came with the harness. Can’t find the harness. I can look this weekend deeper if you need? _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum
