Welding in a sunroof in a 57

Hey guys, I am welding in a 2 fold sunroof into a 57 bug .
I have a clip from a 58-63. Does anyone have the dimensions
from an original 57 rag so I can get this thing welded in the right spot.
Any input I can gather and dimensions will be much appreciated. Thank you in
