Recently installed Gowesty lift kit on '97 EVC. Suggestions for front/back PSI on 16" tires?
On different topic, what difference can be expected - if any - w/ speed show on speedometer to actual speed from switch from 15" wheels to 16"? |

I run about 45 psi f&r unloaded, 50 loaded.
My speedometer accuracy improved with the bigger tires. The speedometer now reads about 1.5 MPH less than the GPS reading. |

My speedometer accuracy also improved with 16" tires. It is just about dead on now.
I run 45 front and rear. _________________ '58 Westy camper-come and gone

the door jam says 43/48 but i'm running 43 psi front and back unloaded. i was think of going lower to 40 psi with the idea that the ride would be less bumpy. would that compromise the handling? _________________ '93 EV Wkndr – 5 cylinder – 5 speed - 280k+ miles |

When I got my 2001 Eurovan 5 years ago, I replaced the worn Michelin with 102H Verdstein tires of the same size rated at 48 max. psi. Winnebago label on the door says tire pressure at 45psi. I followed that pressure religiously for 4 years. About a year ago I took the van in for tire balancing and the technician noticed 3 out of 4 tires were out of round. When they took the tires off the rims the tires were delaminating on the inside (bubbles forming). Now I run 102H Nokians of the same size and inflate to VW recommended pressure which is 38 psi. |

I recently acquired a 2002 EVC, the PO had 4 year tires with about 10K on them with a load rating of 99 on 235/60/16 Toyo Eclipse (not truck rated) my Winnebago sticker on the door says 49, how is 38 working out? |

So far no issues, the ride is still nice and I haven't noticed any abnormal wear on the tires. |

I'm a little confused ....
I have Michelin Defenders (235/60R16) on my 95 EVC with tire pressure 43 PSI (front) and 48 PSI (rear) and have had no problems whatsoever.
per the sticker on the door.
Then, in reading my Winnebago book, I came across a sticker suggesting 51 PSI (front) and 57 PSI (rear). But keep in mind, this recommendation is for P195/70R15C tires. See photo.
Which should I use?

I go with the what the tire sidewall says. For example, a Hankook Dynapro AT2 225/70/16 103T says "1929lbs max load @ 51psi." So I'm good with 49psi front and rear. _________________ '68 Bus in West Germany, 1977-1979

According to Tirerack https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=...m=36HR6DTH
the Defender 235/60/16 is 44psi max.
Check what is stamped on the sidewall. _________________ '68 Bus in West Germany, 1977-1979
