A quick search revealed this 30a version for sale - listing includes a scan of the 'owners manual':

I still have that exact same unit from my very first T3, an '82 diesel ASI camper. It's a battery charger and house 120v "fusebox". _________________ Casey--

great.
it charges the aux battery underthen drivers seat i assume.
how do i know if its hooked up to the other battery?
which way does the switch go for it to be in charge mode?
how and where would i hook up a 120v plug?
does it charge the aux battery when plugged into shore power?
please and thank you man... _________________ current fleet:

It looks like a huge waste of the space that I use for all my techie bits'n'pieces - including a far smaller and modern switched-mode 4-stage battery charger 'just in case'. _________________ Jim Crowther

Mine used a battery isolator located in the engine compartment. This allowed the two batteries to be charged independently--I think. My isolator failed and I had to remove it before selling the van. That unit has a huge transformer inside and I've used it as a bench battery charger over the years. It's really heavy. _________________ Casey--
