After a week of block sanding I finally re-discovered my favorite tool for tight spots
It's been a couple years since my last paint job,, so I re-learn stuff as I go.
Also due to Xener's thread I'm wanting this light sapphire blue now

I have 2 Gallons on their way so we'll see. Gonna put my hugger orange up for sale at some point, just can't do the orange

The light blue metallic will go very well on the '72. 30 years ago I bought a '72 Ghia coupe parts car, realllly rusty body but a solid pan; that was factory-painted Gemini Metallic- similar to your choice color. Here's Gemini on a '72 German Ghia brochure, "Aussenfarben" section, bottom row center.

I finally had time to spray the epoxy/sealer on the interior/backside. Hopefully I can spray base and clear sometime this week

Interesting...The ghia you show looks almost exactly like the same color in my photo. The only thing is my phone camera doesn't really show the color as it is in person. It's got a more blue-ish tint to it. But then again maybe the ghia you show has the same effect and they are identical in person and on camera.
