I'm trying to gather two heads to port and polish. I currently have the below "113" head which has P & P and came across these two nice "040" heads (pic below). Question - are they the same, so that I can P & P one of these or should I do both so they match. I've done some research and they all appear to be for a 1600, am I correct?
I'm a novice to engine tinkering and want to keep my bug a driver while I work on these heads and a few other mods. My plan is to P&P heads, get 87mm's, maybe 1.25 rockers and dual webers to make it a peppy 1641. I would love to add a cam but believe splitting a case is a must for that right?
Thanks in advance!!!!

The "113" head is stock dual port with 35.5mm intake and 32mm exhaust, 71-73 with ledge in combustion chamber.
The "040" is Brazilian "stock" replacement with 35.5mm intakes and 32mm exhaust for 1600.
Most people freak out when they can not get or do not have matching part numbers for both heads, and you want to split a "matched" pair???
