I am on the final stages of my 36 build using the WW Okrasa kit. I am wondering since you have to install the cylinder tin and the manifold at the same time will I need to install the long block into the car, or will the manifolds clear so that I can have my motor assembled less the carbs before installing in the car? manifolds on. Every thing except the carbs installed. You have to twist the engine a little to clear the sides but there is enough wiggle room to do this. _________________ Rick

Rick is correct, manifolds on and I have done it more than once with the drivers side carb on and giving the motor a twist till everything clears.

Can I remove the driver side carb instead?

Removing the drivers side might be better. You would be twisting the motor counter clockwise, which would move the generator away from the apron. I don't know if it makes any difference. The only reason I took only 1 carb off is it was the 1st time installing the dual carb motor and I already had the carbs and linkage all installed and adjusted before I knew it would't fit..... _________________ 57 Oval, 69.5 mm Stroker, w/ W.W.
