Just installed the body onto its chassis for my Oct 58 ragtop. The engine is a WW Okrasa with a ISP Vintage Speed twin tip exhaust. I was surprised and disappointed to find the twin tips so low. They exit just below the apron. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any ideas on a fix?
Looks kinda silly!
Thanks

Do you have the stock transmission and mounts or a later trans?

I think VS makes exhausts for cars with cutouts and without. Are you sure what you have is intended to be used with cutouts?

I am using stock transmission mounts. I contacted Alex at ISP West and he was unsure of what he sent since his site only show a picture of the muffler and does not list whether it is a "under the apron" style or not.
Kinda looks like I am stuck with the wrong style of muffler😩

Turns out that somehow the incorrect muffler was ordered. Alex at ISP has graciously offered to help make things right. Kudos to Alex and ISP! Nice to know they are there to help solve problems and give great customer service.

PS Anyone looking for a deal on a VS muffler with 2 miles on it?

I ordered the VS muffler directly from VS in Taiwan. They were extremely helpful and answered all my questions before ordering. only issue was the time zones so it took a day to get an answer.
