Today I found out that my engine doesn't fit in the (Beatle) gearbox.
The diameter of the clutch pressure plate ring is 31 mm and the diameter of the release bearing guide in the gearbox is about 34 mm.
The specification of the pressure plate is:
BP 4090-10 clutch pressure plate 200 mm, reinforced, 1700 lb.
Anybody knows what's wrong?
I guess the clutch pressure plate?

I could be wrong but it looks like you are mixing early PP and late throw out. Also a 1700lb PP/Stage 1 Pressure plate, is that what you want? (usually for high performance motors. The ring should come off.

Thank you!
It's 1800 cc instead of 1500 cc, I'm not sure if I need this one, may be a standard on will be OK.
