She knows we have a car, that's it. The car is at my buddy's house(He has a Lift in his garage) I will show her the car once the body is on it. She also asked me not to make it fast... I will have some explaining to do before she drives it. |

Just put a throttle stop on it and crank it way down before she has a go. My wife quit ridding in the beetle years ago (dual carbs made it too noisy) , she cruises in the Micro still and the buggy until we sold it. _________________ Pres. Rivercity VW Club www.rcvwclub.org

Sounds like you're in the dog house on this one. ...that's like saying, "Don't worry honey, I only spent the money on a 14' John boat"...while parked at your buddies house sits a $60,000 bass boat |

Don't all 1963 bug's come with IRS 091 Bus Trans, 4 wheel Strange Disc Brakes, and a 2.8 liter engine. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. She will know some of the facts just not the ones that cost more than I would like to think about. This car will never be sold, I am building it to be driven and raced until I cannot drive anymore. |
