68 Wiper arm post swap?

Hi anyone know if I can just change the wiper arm mounting posts in my 68 bay to a 69-79 style? I'm sick of looking for a 1 year only part that's decent and wont break the bank.

Are your posts bad or are the wiper arms the problem?

Well they were purchased probably 7-8 years ago.

Yes, 69-72 bolt right in, 73-79 has a different motor but the shafts interchange.
