I am about to order some lights for my speedometer. This is what I am looking at from WW DASH LIGHT BULB, fits all illuminated dash instruments, 6 volt, each N177221
Do I need anything else? I remember when I pulled it apart 3 years ago there was a little plastic housing for the bulbs, and then that slid into the speedometer. Does that thing come with the bulbs or a separate item? Also, I wasn't sure which license plate bulb holder I need for a 62? Does WW carry those? I didn't find it on the site.

The plastic housing is part of the speedometer and isn't reproduced that I'm aware of. Each bulb installs into a bulb holder (P/N 111-957-357A), and then the bulb holders are installed into their respective spots in the speedometer body and the plastic housing. In addition to the three across the bottom for the oil, generator, and turn signal lamps, you'll also need one up top for the speedometer illumination, one just above center for the high beam warning lamp, and one more for the fuel gauge illumination.

WW doesn't carry the license bulb holder for your '62, nor are they currently reproduced that I've found. Used ones are out there if you search for 111-943-161G.

Now that was one heck of a helpful answer! Thanks! The bulb holder with that part number you gave me is exactly what I was referring to as the plastic housing. I will order those for sure, and I will search for a used license bulb holder. Thanks again for the help. Edit, I just found the license plate bulb holder from ISP West, I ordered it from there. Ebay had one as well.
