Looking to dump the Empi Phatboy exhaust and get something that doesn't burn my shins and hopefully is a bit quieter. The empi is pretty obnoxious but I have never heard the AA Sidewinder in person. Anyone made this change before? Thanks

Motor is a 1776, Dual Kadrons, 40x35.5 Outlaw heads, Engle 110.

well I think the sidewinder sounds better (and quieter), but the real improvement to be made is to extend the tip out behind the fender slightly, and point back not down..makes a huge difference

I had read that on a few posts. Since its all hidden and tucked, I am guessing a exhaust shop could do that for me if its too loud.

+1
Yes, having the pipe point out and not down cuts the noise a little, and the dust a LOT. Man, first time I fired up with the pipe pointing down, it was in my dirt driveway, and it looked like a copter had landed.

You can buy mandrel bent pipes off the internet if your local muffler shop does not have any and make sure that the exhaust exists straight out the back past the bumper-that may help.
