So as a hobby I make things from time to time, this time around it's some stickers & maybe some clock & gauge faces... I do this because I get bored so I try and fill myself with something...
Was kind of hoping maybe somewhere there was a VW oriented font collection floating around somewhere already but if there is I can't find one... saw the couple in the tech section but not what I was looking for... So I've been manually editing fonts as I go and it is quite time consuming so far....
So, I'll start with 2 font questions...
First... when you look at the older porcelain bubblehead signs for DIENST, SERVICE, GENUINE etc... Does anyone know what the actual fonts are? I've seen so many different fonts on original porcelain signs (and there are quite a few of variations) and I'll be damned if I can find one that is a direct match over eras, So what is the font?
Second... does anyone know if there is a compiled list of VW of font's used in the early years... 40's, 50's, 60's...

The Futura font family come pretty close.....with a bit of tweaking you should be able to get it right.....

Yep, that's pretty much what I've been doing, using Futura, converting that into curves & then editing...
Was kind of hoping someone had maybe built up an organized VW font collection floating around somewhere....

Any chance anybody here would have a copy of 'Brigmore' thin .ttf (or .otf) or the 'Brigmore' family .ttf set they could share?
Which was found in early VDO gauges...
