Sorry to hear this but he sounds like a great dad. I lost my 94 yr old dad in Dec and he fought in WW2 and liberated Paris where he spent most of his time. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine

So sorry to hear this news. Sounds like a good dad. My father passed away 23 years ago and there is not a week that goes by that I wish I could have 1 more conversation with him.
Peace to your Dad, and peace to you and your family. _________________ Larry in OB

Thanks guys. Im on the east coast, but at peace with the idea I may not be there with the rest of the family. I had a firm premonition last Fall that this was the last Christmas and was flying EWR to SNA weekly so I got the time that he was still aware, that time has come and gone.
Be kind to each other.
Aloha

93. Solid. My grandfather made it that far as well; he was happy for the life he had, but a little pissed he would not see 100. Love and good roads to your pops. _________________ "You're either on the bus, or you're off the bus." ~kk

I lost my dad over 5 years ago .
He was only 67.
I miss him dearly, but I take Solace in knowing his pain is over.
Spend as much time with him as you can
I got one last weekend with him before he passed and cherish it deeply _________________ My Photobucket for my Herbie Project - http://s1288.photobucket.com/user/TK-439/library/Herbie?sort=3&page=1

Pilots are an eccentric bunch and as a rule very accepting of others. Find it interesting how many pilots are in to ACVW's.
May he pass with a smile for a life well lived. |

If I ever meet up with you we’ll have to go down the pub for a pint. “ Go on then.” I hope it’s a smooth transition for him. Our best to you and your family sir. _________________ If you haven't bled on them, you haven't worked on them.

It’s a date, Tom, on my next travels.
Dad passed peacefully last night, surrounded by love. I had a feeling Time was short last fall and made the most of it.
