Ok, so yes, the parkhouse was full. I considered myself lucky, because my van won't normally fit in a parkhouse. I didn't dare go up a level, as my awning was mere millimeters from the hanging signs.
As far as parking in general, it is CHAOS here! In all aspects of life, the German People are quite buttoned up and squared away.
Except the parking lot.
Total.
Effing.
Anarchy.
I have a good many pictures on my phone of fucked up parking.
I like the coloring picture of the turtle. I'll have to do one in German..... _________________ 1990 Feldjäger Syncro AAZ

having just got back from your fine country wherein i had to park a T6 in several garages where the top must have been mere millimeters from scraping, and the spaces themselves were much smaller than these seem to be, i salute you, sir, for parking your van. i did exactly this on at least two occasions and no one seemed the worse for it for truly, it was the only option.
Germans, bless their hearts, also seem to be very adamant about standing up and getting out of airplane rows EXACTLY at the moment the plane stops and not a second later despite being 30 rows back and not a single person deplaned but i guess that is another thread... _________________ '74 transporter panel

If anything, there should be a phone number to the local driver's ed school.
