Does anybody know how this black mushroom-shaped piece comes off of the shaft it's attached to? The needle broke and I think I could do a repair if I could get to the needle's ring that is just underneath the mushroom top of this black cap piece. Possibly a touch of solder would do it.

| Nevermind. It had to be twisted and pulled with a little more force. Got it off, soldered, and reassembled. |
