No motor Trans or nose, pushed off the road before those trees were there so I'd guess 1970s ditch. |

MG Midget - mid 60s to early 70s. Probably a couple hundred $ + in spare parts (wire wheel rear end, front hubs, body panels?) |

I was thinking it's a bug eye sprite, look at how the rocker flair up and the hold in the kick pannel. |

Taillights and wheel arches are mid 60s Midget or Austin Sprite II = Spridget. Definitely not a Frogeye Sprite.
Funny how hillbillies will drive their car anywhere- then when it surprisingly breaks, more hillbillies come out to flip them over. lots a thinkin' among hillbillies. _________________

Mg Midget
Given the rear wheel arch shape, it's post Oct. 74 or Pre Oct 71 for a Midget.
Might be a AH Sprite.
I like the mostly removed rear leaf spring. Someone doing some home knife smithing? _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

The MG world finally gets an answer how to keep the lower six inches of the car from rotting away: flip it upside down. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

It does look to be in remarkably good shape. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
