I have an aaz in my 90 westy. I recently noticed a fuel leak. I think I've tracked it down to the area shown. is this the EGR? There seems to be some play in and out where that pivot goes into the body. How can I seal this back up?

Also, does anyone know which pump i have? I am new to this engine and have been trying to gather as much literature as I can about it but I have nothing about the injection pump.

Do you want the good news or the bad? You can pull that throttle linkage off and normally there's a seal there that wears and eventually leaks, which can be replaced. The bad news is the seal will also leak if the pumps internal components are worn and the high pressure can bypass back into the body pushing past the seal. A diesel specialist should be able to test it out

Well, that bad news doesn't sound great. I'm going to try and replace the seal first and see what happens. Does anyone know where to source one?
